INGREDIENTS
- 2 CUPS ROLLED OATS
- 1 CUP ALMONDS, CHOPPED
- 1/2 CUP SUNFLOWER SEEDS
- 1/2 CUP HONEY OR MAPLE SYRUP
- 1/2 CUP UNSWEETENED COCONUT FLAKES
- 1 CUP DRIED BLUEBERRIES
- 1 TEASPOON CINNAMON
- 1/4 TEASPOON SALT
- COOKING SPRAY OR PARCHMENT PAPER FOR BAKING SHEET
INSTRUCTIONS
- PREHEAT YOUR OVEN TO 350°F (175°C) AND LINE A BAKING SHEET WITH PARCHMENT PAPER OR SPRAY IT WITH COOKING SPRAY.
- IN A LARGE BOWL, COMBINE THE ROLLED OATS, CHOPPED ALMONDS, SUNFLOWER SEEDS, COCONUT FLAKES, CINNAMON, AND SALT. MIX WELL TO ENSURE EVEN DISTRIBUTION OF THE DRY INGREDIENTS.
- DRIZZLE THE HONEY (OR MAPLE SYRUP) OVER THE OAT MIXTURE AND STIR UNTIL ALL INGREDIENTS ARE WELL COATED.
- SPREAD THE MIXTURE EVENLY ON THE PREPARED BAKING SHEET. BAKE IN THE PREHEATED OVEN FOR ABOUT 10-12 MINUTES, STIRRING HALFWAY THROUGH TO ENSURE EVEN TOASTING. WATCH CAREFULLY TO AVOID BURNING.
- REMOVE FROM OVEN AND LET IT COOL COMPLETELY. ONCE COOLED, STIR IN THE DRIED BLUEBERRIES.
